The treatment will being with a consultation, discussion your symptoms and what you are seeking treatment for. During the the treatment, fine needles are inserted into specific acupoints around the body. Sometimes your practitioner will use a smoldering herb called ‘moxa’ to warm these points. The needles are used to release and rebalance the flow of Qi - the vital energy that flows around the body’s meridian pathways - which has become disrupted by illness or disease. Your consultation may also involve a combination of other therapeutic remedies such as breathing techniques, meditation, healing sounds, the tuning fork, cupping, moxibustion and nutritional advice.
